Greg Marshall races to season’s best at home – wins WorldSBK’s Got Talent

A steady start on Friday saw him qualifying inside the top twenty. The #95 narrowly missed out on points in Saturdays opening ten lap race at the 2–5-mile circuit. He crossed the line P18.

Sunday brought a new opportunity for success and despite losing places on the run into turn one, Greg dug deep. Closing the gap to the group ahead he was soon battling inside the points scoring positions, eventually finishing in a hard fought P12 after a tense final couple of laps fighting for tenth.

Off track Greg was also busy – participating in the annual charity rider concert in aid of Two Wheels for Life. Lining up alongside the likes of Remy Gardner, Miguel Oliveira and Yari Montella, Greg put on a great performance that won over the enthusiastic crowd who voted him the winner of WorldSBK’s Got Talent 2026.

He also showcased and launched an exclusive range of UK Round merchandise which is available to buy on his website.

With more than month before he gets to take to the grid again, Greg will work with his AG Motorsport Italia team before the next round of the series at the Circuit du Nevers Magny-Cours in September.

Greg Marshall: “I wasn’t aggressive enough at the start in race one and I lost some positions on the first lap. By the time I had recovered it was too late and the group was too far ahead. We looked at the data and learned a lot overnight. In race two I had some problems in the first corner and lost some positions. I was able to catch the group that had got away – without the slipstream – which was hard work, but I managed to catch them. I made my way past a couple of them and was able to finish in twelfth which is my best result of the season. It was also fun to be involved in the charity activities on the Paddock Show stage which raised over £33,000 and I want to thank the fans for voting me the winner of the charity concert.”
