Positive first test for Greg Marshall – full focus on Hungary
Greg Marshall’s 2026 season is officially underway.

The British teenager has successfully taken part in the official FIM Yamaha R3 BLU CRU World Cup season kick-off event at the Cremona circuit in Italy.

A full day of media duties took place on Wednesday before six on-track sessions on Thursday.

The two-day Yamaha event is part of a season long training initiative that runs alongside the six round World Cup that runs alongside the FIM Superbike World Championship, beginning at Balaton Park in a few weeks.

Improving in every session and with more than fifty laps under his belt, Greg is looking forward to a further test with his AG Motorsport Italia team prior to round one in Hungary.

Greg Marshall: “It was a really positive test, and we made some really good steps with the setup on the bike. I really liked the circuit which was new for me. Everything this year is new for me. It’s a new championship and a new bike and it was a lot to take in on one day, but the team are great and I want to say a massive thanks to them. We are headed in the right direction with the feeling I have on the bike and with more testing planned we should be ready for round one in a couple of weeks. Overall, I am confident, I am feeling good and in the last session I was able to run on track with the group which is encouraging. Thanks to everyone who is supporting me, see you in Hungary!”
